Dear Unopened letter,

This is an ode to an open letter

one that starts with Dear Friends,

and ends with we will meet again

an open letter isn't always open 

it can be closed or broken

an open letter is never cut straight

Frankly, it looks like it took a trip to the magistrate

An open letter when open is forever ruined

the hopes you had forever broken

for whenever a letter is open

dreams have been spoken

hopes have been broken

Because you opened the opened letter

you now know what is going on in the world

that peace is part of the past

hope is for suckers

and candy is really not easy to steal from babies

I may sound like the riddler here but 

an opened letter is a broken seal

a broken past

a broken mind

a split path

for this is an ode to an unopened letter 

filled with dreams 

sunshine

and weaving matters

that's starts with an address

and ends with a sincerely yours

oh by far an unopened letter is better than better
