An Open Letter to My Dear Sir...
My dear sir,
I am a bomb, primed and ready to explode.
A mask, immobile and emotionless.
A wall, towering and cold.
I am, I am fire, fierce and unyielding.
A sister, protective and fearful of dark corners.
I am, I am, I am… woman, shamed and exploited.
A survivor, healing and shouting for change.
A mind, more than just my body.
More than what I’ve done to myself,
More than what you did to me.
Woman. Queen.
I am alive.
