An Open Letter to the World
long time no see
You have been killing me
With your racism against people who just want to be free
Your dying from heat as this world begins to become extinct
Women are less than
People of color are less than
Why is corruption greater than
We need change
People are dying around the world but instead of listening we put up fake news to show more hate
Why are mass shootings just another day
People are less than even in the United States
What happened to freedom and justice in this place?
What happened to community we are all just one family
We all are connected and begin at one place
We are all a part of one race- a human race
When was it okay to stop loving
When was it okay to start this hate
Who decided that love was gone
Who decided people were objects meant just for pleasure
I want to scream people are dying
People are being sexist, racist, and underhanded
What happened to good people?
What happened to community?
What happened to We the people?
Where is the love- why do I see hate and have to search for peace
Why are we marrying off our children instead of giving them equal opportunities
Why is the pursuit of happiness the impossible dream
Why does religion mean segregation instead of community
Why is their poison in our waters?
Why are we letting people drink poison?
Why are guns more important than human life?
Why do we need guns in our homes to feel protected?
Why do we kill each other in war- why is there war?
Oh I know because we are filled with hate
Why do we kill our world
Why is it hard to live comfortably
Why do we throw people in jail because of the color of their skin
War on drugs more like war on color
What happened to safety and security
Why do we have corruption in our government when we should feel safe in our security
Why does religion mean separation
Why is poverty an epidemic disease
Why is discrimination and inequality still alive after all this time
Why are we killing our neighbors for being different
Why are we killing our home
We need a change
Our world is a hell
We need to change
My open letter to the world
Here's your problems here is your solution
Just love
Why is it so hard
Love your neighbors- love your planet
Have love in your heart
It is so simple its difficult
It's your choice to listen
It's your chance to change
It is your time to change
Will you let yourself die
