Open Up My Heart of Gold

My heart of gold My one and only I know sometimes you feel lonely You feel like the world is on your shoulders But I want to carry that weight too Open up my heart of gold Let me see inside of you Dig deeper so I can found the treasure buried within The more time I spend with you The more I learn about you Crack that shell you hide in You don't have to be perfect around me I know that you have faults and flaws You accept me even when u see my claws Open up my heart of gold Enjoy my warmth and kisses Bask in the sunlight of my love I love looking into your kind brown eyes And unwrapping what's inside I love hearing your voice So gentle and sweet You knock me off my feet As we dance on the kitchen floor I love your goofiness, your sense of humor, even when you poke fun at me I love your honesty which keeps me grounded You make me feel beautiful When I feel like an ugly duckling I can't help but smile when u do something silly When I get mad, you melt me with your smile Just want to make love for a long while Open up my heart of gold I want to open your book of memories Read its intricate and complicated pages Until I understand you completely.
