Open Your Eyes

Hello?

Are you in there?

Do you see?

Bumble bees, butterflies, spun cotton candy,

Ice water, warm tea, new-found laughter,

Try again.

Driving teen, roller coaster, seven foot sandwich,

Musty pages, sun set, sheep-skin slippers,

And again.

Clearance rack, tumbling puppy, straight-A student,

Long walk, sandy beach, movies during storms,

One more time.

Happiness, Diversity, Freedom of Oppression,

Family, Persistance, Thirst for Opprotunity,

Perfect.
