Opened Box

Opened Box

What is this?

A box

A barrier

I think I kinda like it here

No one to stare at me

No one to judge me

I really think I like it here

I am trapped inside this box

Where no one can hear my voice

No one can see past through like crystal clear glass

I hide in this box to help me

Help! Help me escape from the OUTSIDE

Huh, the OUTSIDE seems like a scary place

You don't realize that this box that you're in

Is messing with your head

Keeping you from experiencing true happiness

So you make friends

Go out, have fun and build relationships

Little by little this box withers away

Wood chips floating away in the slight breeze

This box

How can this box open

But it has

No more hiding behind the barrier

I! Me! This small person opened the sealed box

The box is finally open
