Rehearsing my part,

to leave or to stay

The audience waiting,

the stage has been set

Opening night,

my birth or my death

Excellent both in the meaning and the rhyme. This is intense, thought- provoking and even though short, it has impact. You used emotion with skill and the rhyme is exact- something that most writers do not get quite right. The poetics here are great!
