Opposites

You and I... we're the complete opposite of each other.

And you know what they say, opposites attract.

So why, when we get so close, do we bounce away from each other?

If opposites really did attract, shouldn't we be together?

I guess people forget to mention all of the stuff that happens in between.

The off and on.

The smiles and the tears.

Other people only see the big picture.

The masterpiece.

They don't look at the details that make the picture what it is.

But I'm a broken masterpiece.

Slowly fixing myself.

Piece by piece.

Detail by detail.

And I sure as hell don't need you to help me.
