Opposites Attract

If you were an ocean, and someone skipped a stone over your cool top

the stone would not sink but float

You are the inspiration that copes.

You light is so beautiful and rare

that it could go hand-in-hand with air

breath in the tragedy and sorrow,

exhale the hope of tomorrow.

You have done nothing but keep me strong

I know that without you I could never go on.

Your optimism is what keeps me alive.

You've opened my eyes.

I don't want to die.

God had made your hand for mine,

It's why I want to hold it all the time.

Tearing us appart is too close to death.

I'll never rest

with you it's never a test.

You've stuck with me through all these years

Our fears

This is why we are here

I hold you down, you keep me up

Together, we could never grow up.

You're wild and free, free as could be.

I want you to see

What you are to me.

But I bet you wish the same,

because behind those years of pain

you say you found a light

you live too close to the sight

but you would never leave

because leaving is a nightmare for us to grieve

We keep each other balanced and we hold our hands

as we do our wedding dance.
