Opposites Attract
he was dark, she was bright
he was a mess, she was full of light
he'd spent his whole life hoping, begging for someone to be his guide
she'd always wanted a taste of the other side
he was made of mistakes, she hadn't a flaw in her wake
they were polar opposites, yet they had an inevitable attraction and couldn't get rid of it
she fell for his big brown eyes, he dreamed of her astounding smile
the way his arms enclosed around her made her feel bulletproof, when she held him, he was no longer aloof
together they were unstoppable, feeding off the adrenaline they gave one another
you could see them melting into each other; see them molding into the people they were destined to be
to him, she was home, and she couldn't think of any better place to be.
