Opposition of Mind
The mind is the most dangerous tool
Equip with the weapon of thought
And dripping with self-doubt and destruction
It is brutal
No one sees its true force
It has a way of capturing you
Forcing you into the depths of evil
Ideas drag your spirit down to hell
Emphasized by the tired cliches
“The mind is a cage for the beast within”
Never ending darkness emanates from the mind
Our lives only offer constant proof
Thoughts have the power to ruin relationships
Mothers, brothers, significant others
Over-thinking consumes us in the endless possibilities
We are left with the shambles of a connection
The mind leads the man to notions of power
It infects man, showing true human nature in his thoughts
Every gunshot in times of war
Leading to more death and destruction
Every action on this planet convincing us of the truth
All evidence leads to this conclusion
The human mind can be described in a single word
Terrible
Something that's terrible
Who's to say it can't be
Something that's wonderful
Wonderful
The human mind can be described in a single word
All evidence leads to this conclusion
Every action on this planet convincing us of the truth
Leading to more life and growth
Every helping hand extended in times of need
It empowers man, showing true human nature in his thoughts
The mind leads the man to notions of peace
Until we are blessed with a glorious connection
Our minds allow us to harness the endless possibilities
Mothers, brothers, significant others
Thoughts have the power to create relationships
Our lives only offer constant proof
Never ending light emanates from the mind
“The mind is a terrible thing to waste”
Emphasized by the frequent sayings
Ideas let your spirit soar to the heavens
Easing you into the depths of love
It has a way of capturing you
No one sees its true potential
It is honest
And overflowing with love and wonder
Graced with the capability of thought
The mind is the most beautiful tool
