One day I awoke
And found glass around the floor.
And I found my mom, who said
"He won't be here anymore."
"He's left us child, your fathers left us,
And Now we'll have to leave"
So go wake up your brother,
Pack your bags, brush your teeth."

And I did

I went to school the next day,
And the teachers took me aside
They looked at me depressingly,
And started with a sigh
If we can help you child
In any way at all
Just ask us and we'll be there
At the beckon of your call

And they did

I didn't know why they'd told me this
And i went back to my sea
I had always thought
That's the way it ought to be
But then I looked around the room
And my eyes met their gaze
An awkward silence hovered
It seemed to last for days.

But it didn't

there comes a time for all to heal
No matter how bad things may feel
All wounds will settle
And life will find a way
Coldest day and darkest night
There will always be a guiding light
To wake and save you
From the other sleep

And you will be Awakened.
