This or That

This or That How much to gain How much to lose Famished yet satisfied Proud yet disgusted Starve the day away Eat today Pay tomorrow Is it worth it? This or that Bound the hole on my face Through which breath escapes and returns Let them see the loss Let them admire the lies Ignore the consequences Silence the pain bellowing in the abyss The abyss where human life forms Prayed to God to make me like them Graceful and thin Take me apart and start all over again This must be a mistake This or that Time passes by Like cars on the interstate The question still unanswered This or that? Realization and appreciation Realization that no one will love you More than you can love yourself Appreciation for those that savor Every inch and every curve That at one time You swore you didn't deserve So this or that? Why not take both? Eliminate the impurities that secrete from your mind Forget the things you may have or what you may lack Turn away and never look back

Although it may be hard to accept yourself , never forget to be kind to your body.
