(or gentle.)

You are like a typhoon

Everything is thrown aside

I'm drowning in your suddenness,
Reveling in your unapologetic intensity.
You live like I do
Instantaneous, tempestuous and true,
with all the honesty and volatility
of the sky and the sea and the winds.
You are a catastrophe
An avalanche triggered by a laugh
Or the soft sound of a first kiss
and I have never known a phenomenon
so glorious,
or natural,
or dazzling,

or overwhelming.
