Orange Red Blue

Orange Orange and red Orange and red and blue Orange I see Orange I see brushing the red rock Up and down up and down It is lapping like a pulse It is the mediator Negotiating Negotiating the soft of the sky And the hard of the rock It is the color of the sun It is the color of the hole in the sky As I walk between the canyon walls The walls limiting the blue Holding it down Keeping the blue blue The walls of rock that glow red The red that is deep The red of silt sediment and stone The stone that pierces the soft sky With the orange hole in the blue That ever so softly Brings color To the red To the blue Orange
