Orchestra

Orchestral music swells the placid night,

And lull is broken by wandering tunes.

Beauty of music is alpine and bright,

Enormous theater is hushed by bassoon;

A sweet solo envied by Apollo.

Pompous brass sounds an appearance,

Soft winds enter smoothly to follow,

Enigmatic strings in coherence.

Waving with his arms, the conductor hails.

All Argus’s eyes entrapped by movement,

Watch the orchestra fall behind a veil.

Do not dare blink or breathe in that moment.

Long past composed pieces played once still,

Audience glorious emotions fulfilled.
