Orchestra
A fog blocks my thoughts
A weight pulls at my arms
I work to write the words
No matter how much it harms
I block out the noises
And focus on the sounds
Let the symphony entrance me;
The music that surrounds
I have to try my best
To hold back my tears
As the strings are rubbed across
And violins bleed wonders to my ears
The instruments connect
To make wonderful worlds appear
And tug at the fog
Until the sunshine is clear
The weight no longer pulls
My words flow high and near
And the effort's completely gone
Taken with it my darkest fear
My words fill pages
The symphony goes on
And my spirit soars freely
For now and to beyond
