Ordinary

Get rid of the monkeys that haunt their cage
send them back to their blanketed jungles.
They have no span of attention let alone do they know what it means
seriously an atom is bigger than their brains.
Tainted with ugly laughs and old jokes
even the bananas can't take it.
The vines have owners
and after a while the vines are loners.
Missing trees are back?
You can thank the zookeepers
they run the zoo.
Queens and kings of the jungle they are
but yet they have no riches.
All these novelties
I speak hatred
and
fondness toward
are regular people
moms
dads
children
and teachers.
Excuse my rhyme with Copacabana
but I must go to buy my bananas.
