Oregon (Part 4)

On the way back

On the way home

It cut into me

like a blade sliding

seamlessly

through your flesh.

"I didn't force her - I let her decide"

but it wasn't a decision for me

for me, it was the use of force

and all that anguish in me

hidden carefully

put under the guise of forgiveness

and 'it's all in the past...'

came rushing up

englulfing

swelling

until I thought I would burst

with the injustice of it.

Knowing that I couldn't say a word.
