Zeus was a star.

women wanted him, men wanted to be him.

He had the whole world in his hands.

Well not the whole world,

There is one woman who couldn’t care less about Zeus. 

Alcmene was just a normal person nothing spectacular about her.

But Zeus wanted her and he knew he couldn’t have her as the person he was.

So he came up with a plan. 

Zeus disguised himself as a total stranger,  Amphitryon.

Alcmene and Amphitryon fell in love very quickly, even had a child named Hercules.

But the kid being the son of the star, Zeus had to tell her the truth.

Alcmene felt betrayed and hurt.

She told Zeus to never come back and he will never see his child again.

That statement remained true for about two decades.

Until Hercules learned about his famous father

And he had to get his throne among the rich and famous
