"Origins"

“Origins”

By: Naomi Jones

June 22nd, 2015

Etched into existence you made me a part of you,

more likely to share the same sketches-

too blurred to see the curves you outlined in them.

Dug deep into my melanin and produced a kingdom,

not ruled by me, yet kept the order within them.

Officially dedicated life,

beyond the fabrications of this nation.

Removed me from my country to label me out of ethnicity.

Respectfully, you made me an identity,

beyond the subject of limiting.

Told me to grab a mic,

knowing the right people would be listening.

How dare they proclaim me out of character!

How dare they say, 'that was too black of me'

Race was the lock without a key and for me,

they risked originality.

Now originally,

we could have built ladders as tall as Heaven's gates,

yet it was not in our plan to do so.

It's almost as if our minds are not capable to hold the information

locked in front of our faces.

In faith I pace with patience

and fill my soul with blessings.

So when you told us what you really need,

"My heart and soul say yes".

I guess I never really knew the answers to those questions.

The ability to walk in creativity creatively allowed me past my family.

Now I don't mean the ones that fed me,

I mean the ones that qualify me by how rich I'm supposed to be.

Obviously the material things you require,,

should show up in my life like they were what I desired.

No, the only material I wish to touch my heart beyond the soul

is the spirit you shelter in every pen.

Leave it then to the trust of your words-

intertwined with mine.

That fill every empty line

and fill every page until I was billed for using way too much paper.

God, you're funny.

Softly you strategically placed me in society,

it sounds so sweetly,

rioting the red drums of justice.

Just us was enough to scare the Devil six feet lower.

Yet we move our trust

and begin to question the reality of us.

You, whom we cannot see,

yet still can prove.

There's so much more to the story than Ish and Isha.

We skip past the first two chapters,

to find our existence in chapter three

because our society is addicted to labeling.

Now excuse me but I come from the nation of The King,

the only one yielded in chapter one.

The more you declare Him wrong,

the more you prove Him right.

I write in these cultures of right and wrong,

you're looking at His one, His government.

So tell me if I'm wrong.

The Big Bang is a cosmo theory,

which proclaimed a sudden extrapolation,

beyond cognition,

of a singularity-

in which the system of light and space expanded

within one hundredth of one thousandth of a millisecond.

In simpler terms the Big Bang is just a tiny phrase,

for when God said, "let there be light".

See there's truth behind the brights in scientists eyes.

So answer this,

where does the archaebacterium "original life form"

originate from.

The dome of the people have become numb to where they come from.

Those who question His authority,

already kicked the responsibility of dominion.

Man-

that is as God called humans,

or many with hues,

or reflection of You-

require too much information for their qualification.

I don't question the One who spoke;

life, dominion, and queenship over both aspects of creation.

The two roles equal in His eyes,

able to roll a scroll together,

we fight.

For one cannot be strong without the other,

one cannot declare without the other,

one cannot pray

one cannot BE without the other.

For it is the responsibility of both to dominate

and spread the culture of His kingdom

among those who refute the imagination to do so.

So, He let it be written in these pages,

my citizenship lies within God's nation.

My respect within honoring my king.

My story is His story, that began history.

Its glistening right beyond our senses.

To listen is to accept the concept that man be lifted within a new nation,

a holy priesthood of which my Father owns.

I guess we all are seated reflections etched into stone,

seated possessions in which we all own.

Follow by faith and not by sight.

Learn to listen and not to fight.

Seek redemption within our eyes so that we may see past the two E's,

where Y we live is engraved in the truth-

in He who lives to draw all men closer unto him.

We are them who must take the first step.

As long as we can remember where we started.
