ORISON

Lord hear my cry As I look up and pry Praying for better days to come by So I lay down my fears and tears to dry. Show me your face And give me the grace To run this marathon race. They say prayer is the key So I call upon thee As I go down on my knees For your mercy and clemency lord, I plea. For so long I've beseeching And so long I've been searching For the path that will keep me standing. Slipping through these holy pages Hope it gives me the sage To break these chains and cage That will lead me to a new age. © Sustainer Eater of words
