Orlando

we’ve got to get our

   stuff together,

      Mr. President

we’ve got to get our

thoughts in sync

  once, and for all …

the world’s erupting,

 taking no prisoners,

we need to do it together …

I look for good, but pain resides,

I sense the world beyond asunder,

and where it starts, I wonder.

I beat my head with rage of thunder

hate will grow when let inside.

so there’s that beat again

never quite un … i … ted

the amber light that’s

never quite

beside us …

Be still my heart , I wince

from all the interference

we’ve got to be well-balanced,

 connect before it’s too late.

All we need to do is fight it,

and work at being united.
