Orphan of SIlence

Poetry lets the soul speak

It puts forth not only words, but feelings and emotions.

You can put forth all those pent up feelings

Poetry gives you an outlet and to let you free your mind.

Sadness has its deathly grip on us all

Poetry offers an escape if only for a moment.

Words may be an orphan of silence, but the poets are not.
