ORTHO :/

A small switchback silver prison holds;

millions of potential scratchy white pearls.

You smile, and you release a cluster of folds.

I don't like smiling. It makes me blush. Molds

wrinkles on my eyes. And most of all it shows

the small switchback silver prison holds.

And when I was little I was told;

only the dumb frown, and the nice smile. But for me

you smile, and you release a cluster of folds.

Not white white, but yellow white. And the

doctors swear they love to play Tetris with my

small switchback silver prison holds.

And when I was born I had an extra syllable

nor did my teeth ever rhyme. No, instead

I smile, and I release a cluster of ivory rolls.

A small switchback silver prison holds;

for me: an mouth open, a laugh, an "I love you".

But smile, and release a cluster of folds.
