The Oscar of Disappointment

Dear Academy Awards,

I’ve stuck with you time and again

Yet not once have you quenched my thirst

I watch with anticipation

But am filled with desperation

Your glitz and glamor amaze me

And the height of beauty is upon me

It doesn’t distract from the fact I’ve been let down

So please let my picks take the crown

With much love and disappointment,

Isabella Alicea
