Oscar Pistorius

Oscar worked hard his whole life,

With no legs he was in such a strife.

On j-shaped metal legs he ran,

Winning Olympic medals and many a fan.

Possessing exhilarating items and a collection of guns

It’s not surprising he loved not only his runs.

Oscar was a good man, some say,

So focused on tasks that nothing could stand in his way.

From his role in South African sports

To his social life with Reeva, of sorts,

He was a dedicated man with intense passion.

If Reeva dressed in the wrong fashion

His assertiveness from the track would take hold

As his desire for control became resolute and bold.

The man always had a plan in mind,

From his goals on the track to the best Valentine’s day he could find.

It was unfortunate then, on how the night ended,

Or maybe Reeva dying was just what he intended.
