Romans 8:5-7 New English Translation (NET Bible)

⁵ For those who live according to the flesh have their outlook shaped by the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit have their outlook shaped by the things of the Spirit. ⁶ For the outlook of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit is life and peace, ⁷ because the outlook of the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to the law of God, nor is it able to do so.

One should not oscillate between your flesh and spirit.

Eventually, the flesh will gain a constant upper hand.

Carnality will be the way that you will be traveling.

You will be with your kind ... in dessert land.

Round and round in circles seem forevermore.

Following the ones like you and followed by the same.

Life has lost its purpose and all that you can see

Is what you get eternally ... burned to open shame.

The opposite sight in turning and returning feelings,

Is faith’s foundation ... a pure Holy Gift?

Available to them ... who live after the Spirit

whose daily task is the Will of God and their reason to live.
