To the Other Piece of This Soul

My brow is heavy

Filled with exhaustion and misplaced affections

I am not a woman who survives on words alone, a shared

Requirement for close proximity is a prerequisite to retain my attention

We have yet to meet and still I crave

the imagined softness of your cheek and the depths

of your palm creases.

I miss you

Impossible it seems to miss a mind Im yet to know

By my soul yearns for a piece that will only come from itself, scattered in the universe

Ill be seeing you

Drive safe

One day

Love,

The Other Piece of Your Soul
