On The Other Side

I turn

Turn, and turn twice more

Until I've done a full circle;

Yet nothing has changed.

I turn towards you

And I see all the chances,

The chances for change

In the world,

In you.

As we both drift down divergent paths,

The light of our lives

Reflects from our eyes.

And you say goodbye.

I say,

I'll see you again on the other side,

The other side.
