The Other Side
You say you love me,
But yet you're dating another girl.
The girl who tells you lie after lie about me.
Like how I slept with all my boyfriends and cheated on them.
I'm the slut you tell you tell him.
I'm the dirty one.
NO.
I'm the one who makes time for her boyfriend.
I'm the one who loves him for who he really is...
I love him.
Period.
I don't use him to be popular, get what I want, or tell him lies to make him stay.
I tell jokes to make him laugh because I love his laugh.
I look at him until he smiles because...he's got that smile;
the one that makes you all bubbly inside and makes you feel so special to be the one with him.
But I'm the slut, you tell him again and again.
I'm the dirty one.
The one who parties til she finds a man.
The one who flirts with every guy til he says yes.
NO.
I love him for the man he really is...I love him.
Period.
