the other side

imagine /

you see a shining shell /

a warm, living breath of thoughts /

and beliefs and love /

but also pain /

you admire the perfections /

and could care less about the flaws /

what you don't see is the struggle /

and you compare /

you compare your worst /

to their best /

the side of them that people strive to be /

and forget that they hide secrets too
