The Other World.

I waved goodbye to the light
As life opened the doors of her dark side
Welcoming me with a wide smile.
I stepped inside with a confident walk
Confidence I never had
I never thought I could have.
With a narcissistic moking smile
I crossed the cages of hell
As if pain's my pleasure
As if suffering's my prise
As if hell is my paradise.
I stepped into the other world
Hoping it would make me forget
Hoping the flames would make me feel
Hoping demons would be my friends.
I stepped into the other world
With one and only one wish
To find a place to belong.
I allowed the heat to tear my skin
The flames to melt my bones
The demons to make of me a doll
I welcomed the darkness with a wide smile
Untill it made of me a home
And of my soul a homeless.
