Others to Brothers

Darkness overcomes, but there will be no fear

Standing together is more than they can bear.

Vultures of greed, hovering over the weak

tear away the meat, fat hanging in their beaks.

But it doesn't have to be,

fracture the line between you and me.

Let hands embrace all others

and let the others become brothers.

Radiant faces peering behind scolding masks

free falling, shattering. Should we ask?

Is it the day at last? The day our iron chains transform to gold.

Bound to each others devotion til we’re old.
