ouch
Do you ever wonder what’s on my mind, when you look at me and my eyes are cold and teary eyed?
When we talk about her and my voice trembles and shakes,
And somehow you still don’t see that you made a mistake.
I feel the color draining from my face,
I think back to all the messages you sent and wonder what was erased..
it wasn’t right and it constantly fucks with my head.
I stare at our ceiling with a hundred thoughts,
Maybe you know how I am feeling.. actually probably not
Its impossible to get this off my mind,
Out of 100 thoughts it takes up 99.
I have understood that you are mine..
And that’s more than just fine, but I am breaking inside.
We’ve tried to talk about this but there is no easy way,
It makes me want to crawl in a hole or maybe just run away.
I am ready to forgive you but forgetting seems to be the hardest fight..
Endless nights and tear filled days,
I wish I wasn’t filled with so much rage.
I trusted your promises and words full of hope,
I was gullible and those exact same promises you broke.
What did I do for you to hurt me at all?
I was nice enough to allow a phone call.
You need more “closure” sure.
I need to be respected, I want to be the only woman you crave,
I want to be represented.
It felt like you took the air out of my lungs so you could breathe for another one.
Even with those beautiful guilty eyes and white lies,
I will love you until the sun dies..
