Our Artistry

Do you know what it's like to open yourself up to the world.... or in my case a small room of lost high school kids
You expose your emotions, your motivations, your hopes, your dreams, your successes, your failures, your love, and your hate...
But that's what being a poet is.
It's being patient for the "right" words, fragile enough to dig deep into those rough emotions, it's not giving a fuck about what people think of you as long as they hear your message
It's almost the very opposite of this society, that wants us silent, though that's one thing we'll never be
We are the voices of those who cannot speak & we will be heard
We are what pushes this generation and brightens the world... we are the universe
