Our Concrete World

The terror starts to consume Destruction adds to her wounds The bloodshed spells out our doom An end that came to soon No love, no one to call brother No will to help one another Walls of concrete, beams of steel It’s our fate the we all seal How did we we become so lost Unaware of all the cost Our walls we all must build The dark hole never filled We must board up our soul Our hunger we can’t control An emotion, feelings paved in strife We live inside this concrete life Oil permeates our beings Sink with our concrete studded wings Nature bows out in defeat Losing the once coveted heat Concrete world destroys us all The human race begins to fall Concrete devils take their place With tattered wings and haunted face.
