Our Days

The end

Of our days

Were littered by the sound

of our defeat

Where we found

our heartbeats

Upon the ground

But listen closely now

for that sweet sound

That can't compete

with the resounding beat

of the drums in your ears

That pushed the gear

And its motionless peers

To act on their feet

To move along

With the will of one

In the end

Of our days

We never got away

to find a way

to piece away the misery

But listen strongly now

For maybe one of these days

You'll find a way

To your greatest escape

Just remember

That in our day

We were never able to recover

The peace in this puzzle

But stand up Today

Despite all your struggles

And trust in your heart

And those of another
