Our Destiny, Our Annie

What a beautiful little girl With her brown stricken eyes Fun and loving She makes our hearts fly She was always on the go And never wanted to stop Full of excitement and energy Until her parents wanted to pop All those memories filled happiness and joy were suddenly taken away Our Destiny, Our Annie had gone without a trace Through all the searches to find the little girl all that was left was to pray... Through all the prayers our Destiny, our Annie wasn't alone But a coward had take her and refused to bring her home Imagine how scared she was and how much she cried When each and everyday she heard her name being said And on this beautiful Pioneer Day our Destiny, our Annie has died... God is holding her now in his sweet gentle arms Letting her rest Shielding her from the worlds harms

I wrote this poem the night this little girl was found dead. She was kidnapped from her front yard in downtown Salt Lake City, UT. I went and searched for her everyday. She was later found 100ft from her home, in her neighbors basement. Rest in Peace.
