Our end

The doors are locked

And I've lost my key
I knock real hard
You can not hear me
That needle is loud
It’s whispering to you
Telling you all these lies
Telling you what to do
It’s stolen your heart
It’s taken your dreams
I know you won’t stop
Until it’s made you scream
You’ve tarnished yourself
You hattered your character
I can’t even see you now
Behind all these barriers
I can’t love this person
What you turned out to be
The ways you degraded --
And even berated me
I’m lost in this mess
What you’ve made of our home
That must be good shit
Going straight to your dome
You’ve crushed my spirit
You’ve drowned my soul
But this kind of shit --
It’s getting really old
Take a long walk, baby
And don’t come back
Pack all your belongings
And leave me in the past
