Our Fathers

Our fathers Our conquering heroes Our emblem of truth and justice Our badge of courage and honor Our fathers The leaders of our dance A dance we are proud to follow A dance we are eager to learn A dance of sacrifice and commitment A dance of honor and discipline, courage and bravery A dance of care, love and life Our fathers It is said you are the light of the world What more can we ask for If not to be your children Oh father oh father I can't wait to be called that A sound of comfort and fear A sound of responsibility and reliability A sound of purpose and reality A sound of pride and promise A sound of the past present and the future Oh my father To whom lies my root and origin To whom 's fame and name I bear My guardian angel on earth My councilor and support in difficulties' Oh father Please permit me to dress you up with laurels of roses and twine Accompanied with the sounds of flutes, harps and voices in songs of praises As I say to you Happy fatherhood And Happy fathers day
