Our Fight

Who am I? But the color of my skin the coarse of my hair the fullness of my lips Am I more? Apparently not Since that's all the reason they need to discriminate find reason to hate me, or better yer, my ethnicity But what did I do? What did i say? To deserve the white men treating me this way I was born... with the skin of the earth not silky ivory that's what i did what caused me to be inadequate in the eyes of this nation but I'll fight until my last breath to ensure my children's future be not filled with a burning-cross death For the future doesn't deserve what we went through We'll fight for our rights for us and for you
