Our Footprint

As we walk, footprints are left behind

In the sand, snow, dirt, everywhere we go.

As we talk, handprints are left in the air

Words lingering long after they are spoken.

Hanging, drifting, waiting to be spoken again.

We never think, never ponder, never wonder,

How much we impact the world aroud us.

That needs to change.

Speak carefully, kindly, confortably.

Walk softly, smoothly, sweetly.

Live lovingly, honestly, intelligently.

Be careful of those around,

Be courteous to all that surrounds,

Take more notice as to what we are doing to our world.

Make the world a happier place

A better place.

Let the footprints we leave

Be footprints to be proud of

Footprints of love.
