Our Future

What would the world be like

If money had never been invented?

Would the world be more loving,

Or would peace still be prevented?

But all trust seems to be lost,

And greed is what controls us.

But if we seek to make a difference,

We have to stop this, and discuss.

I believe that communication is key

To unlocking a better life.

But instead of compromising and talking,

Conflicts seem to end with a knife.

It’s time to start changing,

And take back what’s ours.

Before it’s too late,

And we regret the final hours.

Although I am negative,

I do believe there is hope.

And we can all come together,

Like a tightly strung rope.

The Earth is still young,

And so are we.

And we must show our planet,

How incredible humans can be.

But with the emergence of the Internet,

The future starts to look bright.

For I am hoping and praying,

We can finally end this fight.
