Our Future

We our the furtue,
my generation and the next.
We must protect the World,
hold that thought, I got a text.
It must be important,
becuase my phone buzzed twice.
It'll only take a second
to respond to my friend Bryce.
He's saying he got in trouble
for throwing a cup on the ground.
No one understands him,
I'm sure there wasn't a garbage around.
Let me just tweet what happened to Bryce,
and then I'll start talking about Artic ice.
Wait hang on! Something happened at my school.
A fight broke out. Ouch!
That isn't cool.
I'm just going to quickly share the link with my friends,
I'm sure they'd have the same reaction
that I had at the end.
Done and done.
My tweets are complete.
I'll just talk about the World another day,
because right now, it looks good to me.
