Our girls

I see hatred perhaps anger

Maybe lust in your eyes

Bring back our girls

We hear their silent cries

Bring back our girls

No bring back our women

Phenomenal ones at that

We don't want war or violence

We just want our girls back

We are endowed by certain

Unalienable rights

Such as a fair education

Being taught to read and to write

This is their only 'sin'

Their only 'flaw'

Taking what is offered

By the Constitutional law

Bring back our girls

Our Nigerian queens

Return them to their thrones

In their kingdom

In their homes

Don't misplace a hair

On any single head

Don't taint a single soul

Dont' ruin any pretty face

Don't do anything

But bring them home
