Our "I Love You"'s Don't Sound the Same

We're so emotional right now

I keep my cards to my chest,

so you don't break me down.

You say you need me,

but only for one thing.

I'm afriad it will consume me

all the way to a wedding ring.

I would give you my all,

you would restrain.

In these moments I hear

Our "I Love You"'s,

they don't sound the same.

What do you have to risk?

Why do I have to hide?

And through it all,

neither of us can be satisfied.

I don't want to hear it again,

it means less than dirt.

Don't say those words again,

I am through getting hurt.
