Our Infinite Dance

It all started on a Sunday

We walked through the trees

And basked in the light summer breeze

We walked in silence

It is as if she cannot see

That I am by her side

She dances through the wispy trees

I follow her closely

She stops at the ridged stone edge

I watch in horror as

She turns to face me, her hair shines

In the pale white moon light

She smiles and says "folows me dear"

I take one more, slow step

She takes my hand and we dance over

The cool ridged stone edge

Forever my own, AS
