Our Last Walk

Walking in the sand, holding your hand, I never feel more safe.

Our Footsteps, leave behind our mark.

I feel your hand slipping away, trying so hard to hang on tight.

I feel my own hand, I look up, but nothing is there.

All I see is a cloud, all black.

Falling to the ground, as tears fall down my face.

Not moving a muscle, waiting for you to return.

Your footsteps start to fade away.

Sitting here I wait.

I wait until the day, I see you again.
