Our Love

I desired you for those eyes that speak so true

I desired you for the patience in which you loved my broken soul

I desired you for understanding my imperfections

I desired you for allowing me to be true to my faults

I love you for helping me mend years of hurt

You desired me for my loyalty that never failed you

You desired me for being strong when you needed to cry

You desired me for being a force that made you smile

You desired me because I could calm the howling winds within you

You love me for showing you that you can trust someone else

We desired each other for the laughs and smiles we gave one another

We desired each other for opening our hearts to another

We desired each other for the love we had

We love each other for the love we have now

Our love is so beautiul it brings tears to both our eyes

Our love is one of a kind

Our love is God's way of showing us that he cared so much that he brought us together

Our love is our love to cherish and hold on to
